How important is it to wash you hands?

Washing your hands is essential in every season, but especially so in winter.

During the winter you need to wash your hands to prevent the passing of germs or infections.

During the summer, with higher temperatures, the growth of germs occurs faster, as well as infections that they cause, whether of food, or other origin.

Get in the habit of washing your hands when you spend time outside of your home and there is an increased risk of coming into contact with contaminated sites. It's very important everyone know that public toilets are at risk of contamination, but also less exposed places, such as buses, trains or subways, can also be dangerous.

A recent study found that up to 60% of people do not wash their hands properly. Specifically, more than 10% of the people don't wash their hands at all, 22% only with water, and only 5% for more than 15 seconds.

It is important that the hands are kept under the jet of hot water for more than 20 seconds, rubbing intensely with soap
or better with an antibacterial handwash. Without water you should use an alcohol solution or a hand sanitisier to rub your hands to kill viruses. Failure to follow these simple rules can result in infections caused by pathogens such as salmonella, E. coli and others.

It 'good to remember it whenever you don't want to wash your hands!

Yellow is the main highlight

Fluorescent highlighter ink (which was discovered in 1930 by the German Schwanhäusser family) comes in orange, red, green, purple and blue. But the pink and yellow varieties account for 85 per cent of all sales. Yellow is on the middle spectrum of visible light and is a good one for people with colour blindness.
